Ashley Clark

Ashley Clark serves as Executive Director and a key member of the power origination team at Morgan Stanley, where she expertly manages customer relationships across PJM, MISO, SPP, NYISO, NEPOOL, and ERCOT. With two decades of experience in the power industry, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to her role. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, she spent nearly 20 years at AEP Energy Partners, most recently as Director of Commercial Energy Management and Mid-Marketing. There, she collaborated closely with the trade desk to optimize the portfolio across all business segments, honing her skills in driving value and fostering strategic growth.

Throughout her tenure at AEP, Ashley explored diverse facets of the industry, including Bid Development/Operations, Trading, and Structuring, before excelling in her final role in Origination and Mid-Marketing. Her career is defined by her passion for building strong, lasting relationships with municipalities, cooperatives, and other end users, ensuring their energy, capacity, and REC needs are met with tailored, innovative solutions.

Based in Delaware, Ohio, Ashley commutes to Morgan Stanley’s Global Headquarters in New York City. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from The Ohio State University and an MBA from The Fisher College of Business, blending analytical precision with business acumen. Married for 17 years to her husband, Andy, Ashley is a devoted mother to their two sons, Aiden (12) and Anderson (8). A passionate sports enthusiast, she cheers on her children at their games and relishes attending professional and collegiate sporting events whenever possible

Ashley was elected to the NAEMA Board of Directors in 2025 and currently serves on the Conference Committee.
